Small Milk Jug

This is a small handleless milk jug made from St Thomas clay with a matt white glaze. It's a really lovely shape with a little wide belly to hold the liquid. Matt white glaze will stain if you use tea or coffee in it.

All my work is handmade in small batches. I work in stoneware clay and white porcelain. Each piece is fired to a high temperature and the nature of the clay evolves through chemical changes during this process that create unique characteristics for each item. Therefore, slight differences in thickness, size and form should be expected even if you buy a set.
